Job Summary

Supporting the Carnivore Conservation Program, the full-time hourly Summer 2027 Law Clerk will conduct legal research and writing, assist with litigation efforts, and collaborate on advocacy projects focused on protecting wildlife, all while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct legal research and writing, including preparing memos and assisting with brief writing and filings
• Analyze federal and state legislation related to endangered species and environmental laws
• Collaborate with coalitions and partners while investigating new matters and policy proposals

Required qualifications

• Must be a law student who has completed their first or second year of law school, or a student pursuing their LLM
• Strong legal research and writing skills
• Passionate about protecting wildlife and their habitats
• Background or experience in natural resources, environmental, and/or administrative law preferred
• Creativity and motivation
