Supplier Quality Representative

Job Summary

Working remotely on a contract basis, the Supplier Quality Representative will perform in-shop supplier surveillance and verify critical materials against global codes for high-impact energy, nuclear, and infrastructure projects.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct in-shop quality surveillance, examinations, and testing at vendor facilities to ensure compliance with codes and procurement requirements
• Participate in kickoff and pre-fabrication meetings to confirm inspection plans and qualified procedures before work commences
• Identify and reject nonconforming materials, collaborating with suppliers and project teams to establish corrective actions

Required qualifications

• High school diploma, Associate degree, or relevant in-shop inspection experience with 2+ years in quality surveillance
• Industry certifications such as ASNT Level II, AWS CWI, AMPP/NACE, or NPCA preferred
• Familiarity with ISO 9001, 10 CFR 50 Appendix B, or NQA-1 standards
• Experience with EPC projects in energy, nuclear, LNG, mining, or major infrastructure, with international supplier experience preferred
