Job Summary
To support a growing organization, the remote Supply and Demand Planning Manager will establish and enhance the S&OP process and master production scheduling to align factory output with customer demand while managing effective inventory levels.
Key responsibilities
- Integrate sales orders and forecasts into the Master Production Schedule, coordinating resources to meet delivery commitments
- Analyze risks within the production schedule and develop mitigation plans while maintaining inventory at target levels
- Lead the production planning team in developing schedules that balance customer requirements with manufacturing efficiency
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, business administration, or a related field required; MBA preferred
- 5-10 years of experience in materials management, manufacturing, operations, or hardware development
- Strong background in planning within materials, manufacturing, and engineering environments
- Proficiency in forecasting and inventory management, including establishing planning parameters
- Experience with MRP/ERP systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
