Supply Chain Engineer
Job Summary
Focusing on operations and planning optimization, the full-time Supply Chain Engineer will manage infrastructure supply chain planning and operations for Meta, including servers, data centers, and network equipment, while collaborating cross-functionally to build software and mathematical models that enhance efficiency and decision-making.
Key responsibilities
- Own infrastructure supply chain planning and operations from components through manufacturing to finished goods
- Design and implement software improvements to optimize supply chain operations and efficiency
- Develop mathematical models for simulation and optimization studies to inform supply/demand projections and decision-making
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a relevant technical field
- 6+ years of experience in operations research, optimization algorithms, or related fields
- 3+ years of experience with coding/scripting languages such as Python, R, or Java
- 3+ years of experience in supply chain management, including planning and manufacturing
- Experience working with distributed systems at scale and understanding infrastructure operations
