Surgery Scheduling Representative

Job Summary

To support a growing healthcare team, the full-time Surgery Scheduling Representative will manage a high volume of calls, schedule surgical cases, and facilitate communication between clinicians and hospital staff in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls and determine appropriate actions while providing excellent customer service
• Schedule and modify appointments for elective and emergency surgical procedures accurately
• Organize and enter scheduling requests, ensuring data accuracy and resolving discrepancies

Required qualifications

• Previous surgery scheduling experience is a must
• College degree or vocational school certificate preferred
• Experience in a fast-paced medical environment, preferably in orthopedics
• Basic understanding of medical terminology preferred
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products
