Surplus Lines Tax Analyst

Job Summary

Providing essential customer service support, the full-time Surplus Lines Tax Analyst will manage client communications, process surplus lines tax reports, and ensure compliance with regulations in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage client communications by responding to inquiries, billing questions, and payment confirmations in a timely manner
• Prepare, process, and distribute surplus lines tax reports and filing confirmations to clients
• Communicate regularly with state regulators to ensure compliance with surplus lines requirements and regulations

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 1-2 years of surplus lines tax filing experience required
• Property & Casualty (P&C) license preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly advanced Excel skills
• Strong customer service orientation with a focus on problem-solving
