Job Summary
Leading enterprise accounting operations, the full-time SVP of Accounting Operations will oversee financial reporting, strengthen internal controls, and integrate systems while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Own the financial close process and ensure compliance with GAAP policies, including revenue recognition
- Advance integration of accounting practices and lead improvements in financial systems like NetSuite
- Manage internal controls, financial audits, and coordinate tax compliance with external advisors
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
- At least 15 years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership of a complex accounting function
- Strong expertise in GAAP, consolidation, technical accounting, and revenue recognition
- Proven success in integrating accounting operations and improving financial systems
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with NetSuite or a comparable financial system
