SVP of Mortgage Operations

Job Summary

Providing executive leadership and strategic direction for end-to-end mortgage operations, the full-time SVP of Mortgage Operations will oversee processing, underwriting, appraisal, closing, and compliance while driving operational transformation and scalability in a regulated lending environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Leads the development and execution of an operational transformation strategy focused on productivity, quality, and customer experience improvements
• Diagnoses current operating models to identify opportunities for material improvement in cycle time, cost, and quality
• Partners with cross-functional teams to implement operational improvements and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in mortgage operations or related financial services with significant senior leadership responsibility
• Proven track record of transforming operational functions with measurable improvements in cost and cycle time
• Hands-on experience implementing AI and automation within core operational processes at scale
• Strong knowledge of mortgage fulfillment functions and applicable regulatory requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Operations Management, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
