Switchgear Specialist

Job Summary

Working remotely, the Switchgear Specialist will provide wiring support for field and manufacturing operations, assist with interpreting electrical drawings, and execute smaller retrofit projects with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide wiring support for field and manufacturing operations
• Assist the Field Engineer with interpreting drawings and performing field and shop wiring tasks
• Execute smaller retrofit projects independently, ensuring compliance with safety standards and project specifications

Required Qualifications

• Strong knowledge and understanding of electrical systems and groupings
• Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical drawings
• General understanding of ATS (Automatic Transfer Switch), generator, and switchgear operation
• Familiarity with machinery and equipment used in field projects
• Understanding of mechanical, electrical, and control systems and how to apply them
