Job Summary
Focused on proactive system management, the full-time remote System Administrator will analyze alerts, resolve root causes, and monitor infrastructure to prevent issues before they impact customers.
Key responsibilities
- Triaging inbound alerts to identify underlying issues and assess their business impact
- Resolving alerts to root cause, ensuring durable remediation steps are implemented
- Monitoring backups, patches, and infrastructure to catch potential risks early
Required qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in IT operations, NOC support, or systems monitoring in an MSP environment
- Hands-on experience with infrastructure alerts, including servers, storage, and firewalls
- Strong understanding of Windows and Linux server environments, including patch management
- Experience with monitoring platforms such as Ninja, N-Central, or Datto RMM
- Ability to troubleshoot infrastructure issues independently and focus on root causes
