System Administrator III
Job Summary
Providing advanced infrastructure administration and operational support for enterprise VMware environments, the fully remote System Administrator III will manage on-premises virtualization infrastructure, server hardware, and automation tools while collaborating with engineering teams to ensure system reliability and performance.
Key responsibilities:
- Administer and support on-premises VMware infrastructure, including vSphere 7 and 8, ESXi hypervisors, and vCenter
- Develop and maintain infrastructure automation solutions using Terraform and Ansible, and support CI/CD processes
- Troubleshoot complex networking issues and collaborate with teams to maintain system availability and performance
Required qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant systems administration or infrastructure engineering experience
- Strong hands-on experience with VMware environments, particularly vSphere 7 and 8
- Proficiency with Terraform for infrastructure automation and Ansible for configuration management
- Experience with AWS cloud technologies and solid understanding of enterprise networking concepts
- Ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues and support enterprise-level systems
