System Architect
Job Summary
Leading the design and implementation of system features, the full-time ASTRO System Architect will provide technical leadership to cross-functional teams, collaborating to innovate next-generation solutions while enhancing existing platforms, with opportunities for remote work available.
Key responsibilities
- Design and develop application software using C, C++, and/or Rust in both on-premises and cloud-native environments
- Guide cross-functional teams through the architecture to product delivery process, ensuring seamless feature integration
- Implement AI-assisted development tools and frameworks to enhance engineering velocity and application performance
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field
- 10+ years of experience in software development and system design
- 3+ years of experience leading technical architecture across complex, multi-application systems
- Expertise in core networking protocols such as TCP/IP, TLS, and UDP
- Hands-on experience with version control systems and CI/CD automation environments
