System Engineer
Job Summary
Designing, building, and maintaining application infrastructure, the full-time remote System Engineer will ensure secure and stable server environments while collaborating with developers and security staff.
Key responsibilities:
- Design, install, and configure servers, operating systems, and system software
- Maintain development, test, and production environments, applying updates and security patches
- Automate system tasks and deployments using scripts and configuration tools
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
- 5+ years of systems engineering or administration experience
- Experience with Linux and Windows Server environments
- Experience with virtualization or cloud platforms such as VMware, AWS, or Azure
- Scripting experience with shell, PowerShell, or Python
