Job Summary
Seeking a highly motivated System Safety Engineer for a full-time remote position, responsible for performing expert-level MIL-STD-882 analyses, executing and developing various safety analyses, and collaborating with a technical team to produce innovative model-based safety analyses.
Key responsibilities
- Perform MIL-STD-882 analyses with minimal supervision
- Execute and develop safety analyses such as PHA, HTS, FHA, and others
- Communicate safety analyses to diverse stakeholders, including technical and leadership teams
Required qualifications
- BS with 8-10 years, MS with 6-8 years, or PhD with 3-5 years of relevant experience
- Subject Matter Expertise in MIL-STD-882 analyses and related safety assessments
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance
- Experience with MBSE/SysML applications is desired but not mandatory
