System Testing Consultant
Job Summary
To support the testing activities of a large statewide system, the full-time System Testing and Validation Consultant will work remotely to develop and test product requirements, support functional testing and defect resolution, and document test results while collaborating with developers and business analysts.
Key responsibilities
- Work with project tracks to understand, develop, and test product requirements
- Support functional testing, deployment activities, and defect-resolution processes
- Document test results and collaborate with developers and business analysts on functional requirements
Required qualifications
- SQL experience utilizing simple select queries and joins
- Experience performing IT application testing and/or User Acceptance Testing
- Familiarity with system-testing tools such as Jira and Jama
- Basic understanding of Louisiana's corrections programs/systems is preferred
- Experience in the system development life cycle or related coursework is considered a plus
