Systems Administrator
Job Summary
To support the deployment and optimization of enterprise web applications, the full-time remote Systems Administrator will manage Microsoft Azure, Windows Server, and SQL Server environments, while collaborating with software developers and IT teams to ensure secure and scalable solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Deploy and maintain .NET web applications hosted on Microsoft IIS, SQL Server, and Azure
- Troubleshoot complex application and infrastructure issues across development, test, and production environments
- Develop and support automation tools and processes to streamline software builds and deployments
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in software development, DevOps, infrastructure, or IT operations
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services and platform administration
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and source control systems such as Git
- Working knowledge of Windows Server operating systems and core Microsoft technologies including Active Directory and IIS
