Systems Administrator
Job Summary
Supporting a highly distributed enterprise environment, the full-time remote Systems Administrator - Enterprise Infrastructure will manage and maintain cloud platforms, virtualization technologies, and security solutions while ensuring system reliability and troubleshooting complex issues impacting business-critical systems.
Key responsibilities:
- Install, configure, maintain, and support systems software, hardware, and infrastructure platforms for optimal performance and operational stability
- Monitor and tune system performance, identifying improvement opportunities and optimizing reliability across enterprise systems
- Lead troubleshooting of complex production issues involving networking, identity, permissions, and system connectivity
Required qualifications:
- 4+ years of experience administering enterprise infrastructure in distributed, hybrid, or cloud-based environments
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Linux, Active Directory, VMware, and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP)
- Experience with high-availability systems and disaster recovery processes
- Proficient in managing service tickets and operational tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Experience troubleshooting complex technical issues and driving incidents through resolution
