Systems Administrator

Job Summary

Detail-driven and security-focused, the full-time Systems Administrator will manage and harden on-premises and cloud server infrastructures, ensuring robust backup and disaster recovery while delivering proactive system administration in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Own the reliability, security, and performance of client Windows Server, virtualization, and Active Directory environments
• Administer Microsoft 365 and enforce tenant security controls while executing tenant hardening and migrations with minimal disruption
• Lead infrastructure improvement efforts and mentor junior technicians to enhance technical and documentation quality standards

Required qualifications

• Relevant Microsoft certifications in Windows Server Hybrid Administration, Microsoft 365 Administration, and Azure Administration
• 3-7 years of experience in Windows Server administration and 3+ years supporting VMware/Hyper-V virtualization
• Proven experience with Microsoft 365 environments, including Azure Government and identity integration
• Strong PowerShell/automation skills to streamline operational tasks
• Knowledge of compliance-driven environments and frameworks such as FedRAMP, CMMC, and ITAR
