Systems Administrator

Job Summary

Detail-driven and security-focused, the full-time remote Systems Administrator will manage and harden on-premises and cloud server infrastructures, ensuring robust backup and disaster recovery while delivering proactive system administration across multiple clients.

Key responsibilities

• Own the reliability, security, and performance of client Windows Server, virtualization, and Active Directory environments
• Administer Microsoft 365 and enforce tenant security controls while executing tenant hardening and migrations
• Lead infrastructure improvement efforts and mentor junior technicians to enhance team performance and documentation quality

Required qualifications

• Relevant Microsoft certifications in Windows Server Hybrid Administration, Microsoft 365 Administration, and Azure Administration
• Proven experience supporting Microsoft 365 environments, including Azure Government and regulated tenant operations
• Strong knowledge of compliance-driven environments and frameworks such as FedRAMP and CMMC
• Advanced hands-on capability in Windows Server administration and experience with virtualization platforms like VMware or Hyper-V
• Strong PowerShell/automation skills with experience executing complex projects including server migrations and identity sync implementations
