Systems Administrator
Job Summary
To support a leading organization in network virtualization and infrastructure technology, the full-time Systems Administrator will manage enterprise lab environments, ensuring high availability and performance while working onsite in Raleigh, North Carolina.
Key responsibilities:
- Administer and maintain enterprise server, storage, and networking infrastructure for development and testing operations
- Manage virtualization platforms including VMware, KVM, Proxmox, and Linux-based environments
- Configure and maintain network services such as VLANs, DNS, DHCP, and VPN connectivity
Required qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in systems administration, infrastructure support, or lab operations
- Hands-on experience with VMware ESXi/vCenter and Linux administration
- Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals including routing, switching, and TCP/IP
- Experience supporting server hardware and RAID configurations
- Preferred experience with automation tools and scripting languages like Python or Bash
