Systems Administrator
Job Summary
To support IT infrastructure needs, the full-time remote Systems Administrator will manage and monitor on-premise and cloud-based servers, ensuring optimal performance and security while providing technical assistance and guidance.
Key responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain servers and related hardware and software in accordance with operational requirements
- Monitor and troubleshoot physical and virtual server environments, responding to security and usability concerns
- Provide Tier 3 support and assist in implementing cloud-based solutions and backup processes
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field
- 5+ years of related experience, including Windows server and CentOS
- Experience with Azure Cloud Services and Microsoft Exchange
- A+ and Network+ certifications
- Strong understanding of cloud services environments and ITIL best practices
