Systems Administrator V

Job Summary

To support the Pathology and Genetics department, the full-time remote Systems Administrator V will manage complex system configurations, oversee incident and problem management processes, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve application-specific issues.

Key responsibilities:

• Conducts business-specific projects, ensuring adherence to procedures and developing work plans to meet organizational goals
• Collaborates with technical teams to diagnose and resolve complex system and application issues while monitoring system performance
• Creates and maintains comprehensive documentation of system configurations and procedural information to support operational efficiency

Required qualifications:

• Minimum five (5) years of experience in end-to-end application/infrastructure production support
• At least two (2) years in a leadership role working with IT or operational teams
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
• Minimum eight (8) years working in IT or operations
• Experience in administration and custom configuration of large off-the-shelf applications or software packages is preferred
