Systems Engineer
Job Summary
Seeking a Systems Engineer to join a remote team, this full-time position focuses on managing internal platforms and supporting customer infrastructure by handling requests, administering cloud services, and participating in incident response.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the internal request queue, triaging and resolving issues while ensuring nothing falls through the cracks
- Administer Google Workspace and cloud infrastructure, including provisioning and maintaining accounts and security policies
- Support customer teams by reproducing issues, executing deployment runbooks, and tracking issues through to closure
Required Qualifications
- 1-3 years of experience in IT support, systems administration, or infrastructure work
- Proficiency in Linux and command line operations
- Working understanding of networking fundamentals such as DNS, DHCP, and VPNs
- Experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and familiarity with containers
- U.S. citizenship and eligibility to obtain and maintain a security clearance
