Systems Engineer

Job Summary

To support Boeing's CST-100 Starliner spacecraft as part of NASA's Commercial Crew Program, a part-time Systems Engineer will evaluate launch vehicle and spacecraft systems, perform verification and validation of system requirements, and support testing and documentation efforts in a fully remote environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Evaluate launch vehicle and spacecraft systems to define performance requirements and validate compatibility
• Perform verification and validation of system requirements, ensuring proper flow down and traceability for components
• Support analysis, test planning, and documentation to meet compliance requirements for government and regulatory standards

Required qualifications:

• 20 or more years of systems engineering experience
• Experience in systems architecture, requirements development, verification and validation, and risk management
• Experience reviewing test plans and reports
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
• U.S. citizenship and ability to pass a background check and drug screening
