Systems Engineer
Job Summary
Owning the technical health of the claims platform, the full-time remote Systems Engineer will manage application maintenance, system integrations, and database logic while ensuring platform stability, security, and scalability.
Key responsibilities:
- Perform ongoing maintenance and enhancements on the Impact claims platform, including code updates and performance improvements
- Design, develop, and test system enhancements while collaborating with internal teams and external vendors for tailored integrations
- Monitor and optimize networked software and operating systems, conducting system audits and maintaining documentation for configurations and processes
Required qualifications:
- 3-5+ years of experience in database/application development, systems engineering, or a related technical role
- Experience with healthcare data integrations, including X12 EDI and custom data feeds for claims and authorizations
- Advanced knowledge of database development (MS SQL, C#) and extensive experience with SQL and relational databases
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and TDD/BDD practices is desired
- Proven experience with systems planning, security principles, and software management best practices
