Systems Engineer

Job Summary

To optimize and transform compensation strategies for a large enterprise, the temporary remote Systems Engineer will lead the lifecycle of Workday Compensation solutions, acting as the primary functional owner for compensation processes and providing expert recommendations to enhance operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the comprehensive lifecycle of Workday Compensation solutions, including strategy, design, configuration, testing, implementation, and ongoing support
• Act as the primary functional owner for all compensation-related processes, ensuring effective management of annual planning, incentive programs, and salary structures
• Serve as a trusted advisor to business and technology leaders, driving continuous improvement and evaluating new Workday functionality

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field; equivalent experience will be considered
• 10+ years of HR technology, HRIS, or enterprise systems experience, with expertise in leading complex configuration initiatives
• 5+ years of hands-on Workday configuration experience, particularly in Workday Advanced Compensation
• Proven experience in configuring and supporting comprehensive compensation processes, including annual compensation planning and bonus programs
• Demonstrated ability to gather business requirements and translate them into scalable Workday solutions
