Systems Engineer - Behavior Verification

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time remote Systems Engineer - Behavior Verification, the successful candidate will design and document test scenarios for autonomous vehicle behavior, manage the release pipeline by defining validity checks, and ensure continuous quality feedback on test sets.

Key responsibilities:

• Design and document scenarios and test sets to evaluate on-road behavior performance
• Define and run scenario validity checks, approving or rejecting test sets for the release pipeline
• Investigate behavior deficiencies and collaborate cross-functionally to enhance simulation fidelity

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant engineering field (e.g., Software Engineering, Computer Science)
• Experience in verifying safety-critical systems, preferably in autonomous vehicles
• Proficiency in Python and experience designing test cases from requirements
• Applied statistics knowledge, including sample size and confidence assessment
• Familiarity with autonomous vehicle behaviors and design methodologies
