Systems Engineer V

Job Summary

Serving as the principal subject matter expert for GSA Enterprise Infrastructure Solutions (EIS) and the NiOS telecom inventory platform, the full-time salaried Systems Engineer V will manage telecom inventory, billing, and contract support while ensuring data integrity and visibility for program stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized expertise in GSA EIS ordering, pricing, and service management, ensuring accurate reporting and advising stakeholders on service changes and funding impacts
• Develop tracking, reporting, and reconciliation solutions to enhance program workflows and automate data consolidation across various sources
• Support financial analysis through invoice validation, billing dispute resolution, and maintenance of cost models for telecom services

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 15+ years of relevant professional experience, with additional years of experience potentially substituting for the degree requirement
• Demonstrated experience with federal telecommunications programs, including GSA EIS and telecom inventory management
• Proven ability to manage enterprise-volume telecom inventory across multiple contract vehicles during transitions
• Experience developing Independent Government Cost Estimates (IGCEs) and pricing analysis in a federal acquisition context
• Ability to build automated data consolidation and reconciliation solutions using scripting or workflow automation platforms
