Job Summary

Leading the future of defense avionics, the full-time remote Systems Lead for Military GPS will architect product requirements and certification strategies for high-performance embedded GPS receivers, ensuring safety and success across mission-critical aviation platforms.

Key responsibilities:

• Spearhead the development of software and hardware lifecycle plans for safety-critical embedded systems in military aviation
• Architect and verify product development lifecycle data, ensuring compliance with customer specifications and rigorous qualification strategies
• Lead and mentor the system verification engineering team, establishing advanced verification strategies and testing infrastructure

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline
• 10+ years of professional engineering experience in safety-critical applications such as avionics or aerospace
• Proven track record of cross-functional technical leadership and program execution
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Department of Defense security clearance (U.S. citizenship required)
• Proactive and collaborative mindset with excellent communication skills
