Talent Acquisition Specialist

Job Summary

To manage the regional recruiting budget and enhance hiring strategies, the part-time Talent Acquisition Specialist will utilize cost-effective advertising, develop candidate sourcing techniques, and maintain applicant databases while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the regional recruiting budget and develop a preferred supplier list of third-party recruiters
• Screen, interview, and test job applicants while maintaining the applicant database using the Taleo Talent Management System
• Train and mentor hiring managers on staffing techniques and the use of behavioral interviewing methods

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred
• PHR or SPHR Certification preferred
• Four years of staffing experience, including three years as a direct recruiter in a high-volume industry
• Insurance industry recruiting experience is preferred
• Working knowledge of e-recruiting concepts and systems
