Tanzania Health Systems Data Analyst

Job Summary

To support health systems strengthening in Tanzania, the full-time Health Systems Data Analyst will manage, integrate, analyze, and visualize data to aid in planning, resource allocation, and performance management while working in a hybrid environment with some travel requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Compile, clean, link, and maintain health data from various government systems for analysis
• Conduct quantitative analyses to identify trends, gaps, and resource-use patterns in health service delivery
• Develop analytical products such as dashboards and briefs to facilitate decision-making for government and project teams

Required Qualifications

• Master's degree or equivalent in a quantitative field such as statistics, epidemiology, or public health
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in health data management and quantitative analysis
• Demonstrated experience with health-system or service-delivery data, including familiarity with Tanzania's health information systems
• Strong skills in data cleaning, statistical analysis, and data visualization
• Excellent written and spoken English; proficiency in Kiswahili is highly desirable
