Tax Accountant

Job Summary

To support a growing practice, the full-time salaried Tax Accountant will prepare and review individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns while building client relationships and mentoring team members in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and ensure accuracy of individual and business tax returns in compliance with tax laws
• Research and interpret tax regulations to support compliance and planning efforts
• Collaborate with senior accountants and managers to improve processes and efficiencies

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance; CPA or EA preferred, or actively seeking either credential
• 1+ years of relevant experience in public accounting
• Strong technical skills and a deep understanding of at least one to two specific industries
• Leadership skills and ability to motivate others under tight deadlines
• Developmental skills to train and mentor team members
