Tax Accountant
Job Summary
To support a growing practice, the full-time salaried Tax Accountant will prepare individual and business tax returns, assist in financial statement reviews, and research tax regulations while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and ensure accuracy of individual and business tax returns in compliance with tax laws
- Assist in compiling and reviewing financial statements and support year-end closing processes
- Build and nurture client relationships while mentoring team members and participating in business development
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance; CPA or EA preferred or actively seeking either credential
- 1+ years of relevant experience in public accounting
- Strong technical skills with a deep understanding of specific industries
