Tax Director
Job Summary
Leading tax reporting, compliance, and strategy for a growing financial services company, the full-time Tax Director will manage both direct and indirect tax functions, oversee relationships with external partners, and drive process improvements in a fast-paced environment focused on renewable energy projects.
Key responsibilities
- Lead tax assessment, billing, collection, and filing across multiple jurisdictions
- Manage relationships with external tax compliance partners to ensure timely filing of returns
- Establish processes for key deliverables and oversee the monthly close process and financial reporting
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related area
- 10+ years of progressive tax, tax accounting, and finance experience
- Knowledge of accounting for residential solar assets, including construction and leases
- Experience with partnership accounting and tax equity structures
- Strong knowledge of tax law and tax accounting under US GAAP
