Tax Filing Specialist Lead
Job Summary
Providing key support for the Tax Filing and Rejection teams, the full-time Tax Filing Specialist Lead will guide team members, manage escalated cases, and ensure timely resolution of tax filings and customer inquiries in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Guide team members and assist with complex cases, ensuring timely resolution and high-quality support
- Create guides and SOPs for filing error resolution while identifying process improvement opportunities
- Collaborate with the Account Health team to develop error prevention strategies and reduce rejections
Required qualifications
- Associate degree
- 2+ years of payroll tax experience
- Payroll tax outsourcing experience preferred
- Experience with ERP systems such as Workday or PeopleSoft preferred
- Strong understanding of payroll tax rules, including multistate and SUI requirements
