Teaching Assistant - Clinical Social Work
Job Summary
To support the Clinical Social Work Practice III course, the part-time hourly Teaching Assistant - Clinical Social Work will assist with student assignments, facilitate classroom engagement, and manage course materials while primarily working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Support review and assessment of student assignments and facilitate group discussions
- Manage the Canvas course, including the creation of tasks and assignments
- Provide tutoring and hold office hours, along with assisting in-person during the immersion residency
Required qualifications
- Currently enrolled PhD or PsyD student in good standing at PAU, in the 2nd or 3rd year of study
- Advanced understanding of clinical social work subject matter
- Previous tutoring or teaching experience is preferred
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Excellent classroom management skills and a dependable work ethic
