Team Lead, Android Development

Job Summary

Seeking a hands-on Team Lead for Android Development, this full-time remote position will manage core product features, oversee team dynamics, and ensure high-quality code delivery while actively participating in coding and decision-making processes.

Key responsibilities

• Own major features from design to release, ensuring real delivery rather than mere oversight
• Review code and provide constructive feedback to facilitate team learning and improvement
• Unblock team members facing challenges and streamline workflows to enhance productivity

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with a focus on team leadership and hands-on development
• Proficiency in Kotlin, Kotlin Coroutines, Dagger 2, MVVM, and Android architecture components
• Experience in shipping and maintaining background audio or long-running background tasks
• Strong understanding of testing methodologies and the importance of code quality
• Demonstrated ability to drive changes in team processes and foster a collaborative environment
