Team Lead, Android Development

Job Summary

To lead the core product development for the Android app, the full-time Team Lead, Android Development will manage feature ownership, enhance team collaboration, and ensure code quality in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Own major features from design to release, ensuring real delivery and collaboration with the design team
• Review code and provide constructive feedback to enhance team learning and efficiency
• Unblock team members by addressing obstacles and implementing improvements in workflow and reliability metrics

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience, including team leadership and hands-on development
• Proficiency in Kotlin, Kotlin Coroutines, Dagger 2, and Android architecture components
• Experience with background audio applications and long-running background tasks
• Strong understanding of testing methodologies and the importance of code quality
• Demonstrated ability to influence team processes and foster a culture of continuous improvement
