Team Lead, Android Development

Job Summary

Seeking a hands-on Team Lead for Android Development, this full-time remote position will manage core product features, oversee code quality, and enhance team efficiency while actively participating in coding and problem-solving.

Key responsibilities:

• Own major features from design through release, ensuring real delivery and collaboration with the design team
• Review code submissions and provide constructive feedback to foster team learning and improvement
• Unblock team members by addressing challenges and streamlining processes for effective feature releases

Required qualifications:

• 5+ years of software engineering experience, including team leadership and hands-on development
• Proficiency in Kotlin, Kotlin Coroutines, Dagger 2, MVVM, and Android development best practices
• Experience with background audio processing and maintaining long-running background tasks
• Strong understanding of testing methodologies and the importance of code quality
• Demonstrated ability to implement process improvements and adapt team workflows
