Team Lead, Android Development

Job Summary

To drive product development in a remote environment, the full-time Team Lead, Android Development will own major features, maintain reliability metrics, and actively participate in code reviews while ensuring team collaboration and efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Own and deliver major features from decision-making to release, collaborating closely with the design team
• Review code and provide constructive feedback to enhance team learning and performance
• Unblock team members and streamline processes to improve release efficiency and reduce manual interventions

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience, with a focus on team leadership and hands-on development
• Proficiency in Kotlin, Kotlin Coroutines, Dagger 2, and Android architecture components
• Experience in shipping and maintaining background audio or long-running background tasks
• Strong understanding of testing methodologies and their application in software development
• Demonstrated ability to influence team processes and implement lasting changes
