Team Lead, Android Development

Job Summary

To lead core product initiatives, the full-time Team Lead, Android Development will manage feature ownership, improve team processes, and write code in a remote setting while collaborating closely with design and engineering teams.

Key responsibilities

• Own major features from decision to release, ensuring real delivery and collaboration with design
• Review code and provide constructive feedback to facilitate team learning and improvement
• Unblock team members facing challenges and streamline processes to enhance overall productivity

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience, including team leadership and hands-on coding
• Proficiency in Kotlin, Kotlin Coroutines, Dagger 2, and Android architecture components
• Experience with background audio processing and long-running background tasks
• Demonstrated ability to implement and sustain changes in team workflows
• Strong product design intuition and user empathy to enhance Android UI/UX
