Team Lead, Android Development

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time remote Team Lead for Android Development, who will manage core product features, write and review code, and enhance team collaboration while ensuring high-quality delivery of the Android app.

Key responsibilities

• Own major features from decision to release, collaborating closely with the design team
• Review pull requests and provide constructive feedback to team members
• Unblock team members and streamline processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with a focus on team leadership and hands-on development
• Proficiency in Kotlin, Kotlin Coroutines, Dagger 2, and Android architecture components
• Experience in shipping and maintaining background audio or long-running background tasks
• Demonstrated ability to implement and sustain process improvements within a team
• Strong product design intuition and user empathy to enhance Android UI/UX
