Team Lead, Android Development

Job Summary

Seeking a Team Lead for Android Development, this full-time remote position will manage core product features, oversee code reviews, and enhance team workflow while remaining hands-on with coding and feature ownership.

Key responsibilities

• Own major features from design to release, ensuring real delivery and collaboration with the design team
• Review code and provide constructive feedback to foster team learning and improvement
• Identify and resolve team blockers, ensuring efficient workflow and timely releases

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience, with leadership roles and hands-on coding
• Proficient in Kotlin, Kotlin Coroutines, Dagger 2, and Android architecture components
• Experience in shipping and maintaining background audio or long-running background tasks
• Strong understanding of testing methodologies and their importance in software development
• Ability to drive change within the team and manage the associated challenges
