Team Lead for Web3 Development
Job Summary
Leading a team of backend engineers in a fully remote environment, the full-time Team Lead for Web3 Development will architect blockchain infrastructure, manage technical strategy, and foster team growth while maintaining hands-on contributions to the development of Web3 products.
Key responsibilities
- Architect Web3 backend systems and define technical strategies for user operations and integration
- Lead and mentor a team of backend engineers, conducting performance reviews and fostering a culture of technical excellence
- Own delivery predictability and collaborate with Product to refine requirements and report on team progress
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of commercial experience with Go or 7+ years in other backend languages with proficiency in Go
- Strong expertise in distributed systems and microservices architecture
- Experience with MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Redis, and message queues such as NATS, RabbitMQ, or Kafka
- 2+ years of experience leading engineering teams and mentoring engineers
- Solid understanding of API design, blockchain development, and smart contract interaction
