Team Lead, Mortgage Servicing

Job Summary

Managing the full lifecycle of client projects, the full-time remote Team Lead, Mortgage Servicing will coordinate work assignments, deliver client reports, and provide coaching and training to staff while serving as the primary point of contact for clients in default mortgage servicing.

Key responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of assigned client projects, including system setup and communication of project-specific requirements
• Prepare and deliver client reports on an agreed schedule and lead kick-off calls for new clients or unique projects
• Provide subject matter expertise in default mortgage servicing, reviewing complex exceptions and ensuring compliance with servicing regulations

Required qualifications

• 7+ years of proven mortgage Due Diligence experience
• 4 years of experience in a supervisory role or as a Team Leader
• Strong working knowledge of mortgage products and compliance requirements
• Extensive experience with non-performing (NPL), re-performing (RPL), and Scratch & Dent loan files
• Proven personnel training and mentoring skills
