Tech Communications Lead

Job Summary

To shape and own Mercury's technology and innovation narrative, the full-time Tech Communications Lead will develop compelling stories around AI and product advancements, collaborating with senior leaders and managing integrated communication strategies across various platforms, all while working remotely or from designated office locations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and own Mercury's technology, AI, and innovation narrative, translating complex concepts into engaging stories for diverse audiences
• Partner with co-founders and senior leaders to enhance their thought leadership through messaging and media presence
• Build and execute an integrated communications program, including podcasts, events, and press, to elevate Mercury's reputation in the tech community

Required qualifications

• 7-10 years of experience in communications, focusing on tech, product, or AI storytelling within high-growth startups or tech companies
• Proficiency in using AI tools for research, workflow automation, and content creation
• Proven track record of building executive thought leadership programs across various media formats
• Exceptional writing and editing skills with a strong narrative sense
• Strong relationships with tech and AI media, podcasters, and creators, or the ability to build them effectively
