Tech Lead - AI Development
Job Summary
Leading a team of junior AI engineers and automation specialists, the full-time Tech Lead - AI Development will set technical direction, build complex agentic solutions, and guide daily operations in a fully remote environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Set technical direction and standards for agentic workflows and automations, including architecture patterns and coding standards
- Identify bottlenecks and automation opportunities across ventures, building solutions or scoping them for the team
- Guide delivery by reviewing solution designs, pairing with engineers, and managing client engagements
Required qualifications:
- 5+ years of software engineering experience with production LLM systems, including 2+ years in team scaling
- Hands-on experience with AI solutions, automation platforms, Python, SQL, and REST APIs
- Full-stack development and cloud deployment experience
- Strong business process thinking with a focus on automation opportunities
- Experience in setting engineering standards and managing delivery across multiple projects
