Job Summary
To lead the technical direction of the Code Plane team, the full-time remote Tech Lead for AI Development will manage product surfaces that facilitate large-scale code changes, leveraging AI to enhance developer workflows and ensure seamless integration across multiple repositories.
Key responsibilities
- Set technical and product direction for the Code Plane team, driving the roadmap from issue to shipped products
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate customer feedback into actionable product features and improvements
- Mentor team members and establish reliable engineering practices for design, review, testing, and delivery
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of professional software engineering experience with a strong technical background
- Fluency in technologies such as Go, TypeScript, SvelteKit, React, GraphQL APIs, PostgreSQL, Docker, and Kubernetes
- Proven experience building end-user product features, particularly in developer tools or AI products
- Hands-on experience with coding agents and understanding their integration within workflows
- Experience collaborating closely with Product and Design to take features from concept to deployment
