Tech Ops Engineer
Job Summary
Working remotely during overnight hours from 1 AM to 9 AM EST, the full-time Tech Ops Engineer will be responsible for maintaining system uptime, documenting technical designs, and monitoring daily operations of customer systems.
Key responsibilities
- Ensure system uptime and integrity by building and architecting systems
- Document technical designs and create training materials
- Manage installations, upgrades, and maintenance of Linux and containerized environments
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
- Expert system administrator for Debian-based distributions
- Experience with multiple hosting environments (cloud, bare metal, VPS)
- Programming and scripting skills in Python, Bash, and Ansible
- Strong experience with Linux, Proxmox, and pfSense
