Tech Ops Engineer
Job Summary
To ensure system uptime and integrity, the full-time Tech Ops Engineer will monitor daily operations, manage installations, and document technical designs while working remotely during overnight EST hours from 1 AM to 9 AM.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain system uptime and integrity by building and architecting customer systems
- Document technical designs and create training materials for operational processes
- Monitor and manage installations, upgrades, and maintenance of Linux and containerized environments
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
- Expertise in Debian-based distributions and computer networks
- Experience with cloud, bare metal, and VPS hosting environments
- Proficiency in SQL databases, preferably MySQL
- Strong programming and scripting skills in Python, Bash, or Ansible
